Covid-19 has disrupted volunteer opportunities for students in the community. Therefore, THHS CSF has adopted new policies at least for the 1st semester of the 2020-2021 school year.

- Class of 2024 - Hey Freshman! Your applications do not count first semester as you apply with the previous semester grades (for you, this would be from 8th grade, second semester). You can still the Remind for updates: Text "thhscsffr" to 81010

- CSF will not be making group projects. This semester, students will have to fill out a form explaining their community service activity and get it approved by a supervisor or parent. The form is attached with the link below; turn it in to [email protected]
Improvise Your Community Service
We will be accepting various forms of community service at least for first semester of 2020. The requirement has not changed for the grade levels. However, there will be much more leniency regarding what you can do for others. Some examples include:

- Recycling water bottles
- Behind 99 Ranch Market (Orange Tree Square Shopping Center, 5402, Walnut Ave, Irvine, CA 92604)
- Street Clean-Ups
- Making cards/letters for essential workers (Mission Viejo Hospitals allow for electronic cards)
- Picking up cards from other's homes and dropping them off at the appropriate location
- Food drives
- Donate bags of toiletries, activity/games, clothes, dog/cat food, cans/boxes of food, etc.
- Contact [email protected]
- Write letters for those serving the country
- Tutoring (online or in-person)
- Help in virtual marathons
- Paint your brother's room, mow your neighbor's lawn, other unique household jobs
- Babysit or dogsit (with adult permission)
