Requirements
In order to achieve Seal Bearer status and graduation honors as a senior, CSF members must have at least 4 semesters of active membership, 1 of which is completed using a semester of senior grades (this generally entails 2 semesters of senior year service). In order for a semester to be considered active, you must have qualified with your grades and have completed all of your service hours for that semester. Freshman year does not count towards seal bearer; consider it as a practice year to see if you can handle the work!
Freshmen need 3 hours to qualify for the end of the semester banquet. Sophomores and juniors need 4 hours a semester to qualify for the end of the semester banquet and to have their semester count towards achieving seal bearer status and graduation honors. Seniors need 5 hours per semester to qualify for the same incentives. |
Members can only have a maximum of 2 bought hours per semester. Bought hours constitute anything that is paid for with money to be donated towards an event, such as Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, the NEGU Toy Drive, and donations to Make-A-Wish at Candy Cane Lane.
